Hanh read Music at Oxford University...

Hanh Doan read Music at Oxford University and has been Head of Music at Beaumont School, St Albans, since 2006.  At Beaumont she is an Advanced Skills Teacher, supporting teaching and learning across the school. In 2013 her department was a finalist in the Best School Music Department category of the Music Teacher Awards for Excellence. Hanh is a member of TeachTalk:Music, and is also a frequent contributor to Music Teacher magazine. She is co-author of Teaching Music: Practical Strategies for KS3 (Rhinegold Education, 2013).   Hanh also enjoys playing the violin in local orchestras and playing netball in the St Albans league.  She is a huge fan of tonal functional harmony and is trying to ensure that her young son follows in her footsteps.
