After twelve years as Director of Music at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow, Patrick took the decision to go freelance in September 2009. In addition to his work at High Wycombe Music Centre, where he runs two big bands, the Stage Choir and the adult choir Mill End Voices, his new portfolio career comprises school supply teaching, private tuition, piano and singing teaching, and accompanying for music exams.
Several of his choral arrangements have been published by Faber Music, Music Sales and Banks Music, and his recent book How to Create a Successful Music Ensemble was recently named Print Resource of the Year at the inaugural Music Teacher Awards for Excellence 2013.
